I work full time as an Executive Assistant and I don’t have any paid family leave at all.
I am the breadwinner of our family, and I am 6 weeks pregnant with our first child. I am so excited. I am also completely unsure of what will happen after I give birth. We can't afford to go without my financial contributions to our family and our child will need me there, too.
We need paid family leave because having children shouldn't be a luxury for the wealthy.
