Campaigns for worker power
Demanding dignity for Washington’s working class
Our campaigns are driven by US, the workers who keep Washington’s economy running, but who are given a tiny sliver of the pie in return.
We identify solutions that put working people first and build the power and strategy to win them.
Sometimes that means fighting for stronger standards across entire industries. Other times, you’ll find us enforcing labor laws in court. We take on corporate greed often, and we have a sharp interest in who is running for office.
While the powerful, wealthy few don’t want us to realize it, working people hold a ton of power when we organize together, and we intend to use it.

Current and recent fights

Domestic Workers Bill of Rights
Ending the exclusion of domestic workers from basic labor protections.

May Day to Match Day
Workers rights around the World Cup.

Defending the Millionaire’s Tax
Their tax break costs us our education, healthcare, and rent.
Organize with us against bad bosses & bully billionaires
Every day, we struggle to pay our rent and put food on our tables while the ultra-wealthy enjoy the world they’ve bought on the backs of our labor.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can have good things, like fair pay, time with our families, and access to quality healthcare. We can have this by organizing together.

Past campaigns
With more than a decade of transformative organizing victories, we’re well versed in building sustained worker power, and that’s led to some huge wins.
We launched the fast food strikes that sparked the fight for $15 in Seattle; we organized airport workers who helped pass $15 in SeaTac; we led the effort to win secure scheduling for Seattle coffee, food, and retail workers; and we continue to fight for workers rights in Seattle, Yakima, South King County, and across the state.
